Degree to become a Game Producer

Just wondering, what would be best for becoming a game producer?

CS degree to gain experience in the industry as a programmer?
Business management because that is actually what it is?

Full Sail has a Game Design master degree where you spend about 5 months as the producer of a final project team consisting of programmers and artists that are making a 3D game. You should research more into that if you're interested in a one year program.

I really like Full Sail, but it looks so expensive. Not sure I could afford it.

This is an intern-style career if I ever saw it.
In the old days, you had to get into the HR office to get considered.
I see a road trip to LA or New York as mandatory.
You'd have to guess that there are forums where the insiders hang out, but I'd have to search. Find an employee or past consultant from the company you want to interview with. More than almost any other profession, this has got to be a Who ya know, not What you know, business.
