Hey everyone! I just thought I would drop a post introducing myself:

My name is Christian Modas. I live in a small town in Alabama. I want to move to California (soon!). Programming and skateboarding are my two favorite hobbies. I am wanting to get into the gaming business. I would rather own/work for a small indie game company than a big one. It seems like you could focous more on games you want than just trying to keep a job. I also want to get into the indie game community. There are always fun things going on, and i'm not part of them lol. Currently I am a freelance computer programmer. In my spare time, I am working on a game engine.

Anyways I would like to hear from you guys! Feel free to post whatever's on your mind.

Christian, good call moving out here to CA. Try getting a job as a tester right away and seeing how things work at in the industry, make some good contacts and then after a year the sky's the limit.

I have been saving up. I'm almost at my goal of what I figure would be enough to make it out there :D. I got to visit last year and I knew I would want to live there!
