Re: Major game producers

Chris, what kind of company are you looking for exactly?
A "producer" is a job title, for a person who manages a game project.
A "manufacturer" is a company that duplicates disks or hardware, or stamps out plastic boxes.
You can learn about those terms in the Game Biz Glossary: http://www.sloperama.com/advice/lesson28.htm
And what is "an undergrad position" exactly? Do you mean a full-time job, or an internship? And where are you located? California, Washington, Texas... Idaho, the Canary Islands...?
Look up game companies using gamedevmap and gameindustrymap.
And read these:

You can google video game developers and you will get a whole list of them at wikipedia. There are tons of companies hiring if you are dedicated and you are creative. Let them know that you are very serious about working and making improvements on your own skills to help the company. They love that stuff. Hope this helps:)
