Jump Interaction
Hi everybody! Does anybody remember some platforming game which the player’s character jumps by pressing up in the D-pad or analog stick and the player can also hold the D-pad or analog stick down for some time and then press up to do a high jump? Doesn’t matter if the game was from Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, PlayStation, Nintendo64, PSP, NDS, etc. I was doing some research about interaction design in video games, and I need an example of this kind of control scheme. Thanks.
Different from Mario games which you can hold the D-pad down and then press a button to jump, and also different from “Marvel VS Capcom” which you pull down and push up the analog stick really fast to do the high jump. |
