Age limit???

Hello everyone,

I have been interested in game design for a very long time. I have always wanted to go into the field, but because the schools were prohibitively expensive, I never really saw any avenue. Recently, though, I have begun taking 3ds Max classes and will try to enter grad school for animation. However, I am 26, and my professor tells me that I am rapidly approaching an age deadline after which it will be difficult to find a job. Is this true? Is there an age limit? I am 26, but is this too late?

It's never late to start doing something you love. To became expert in any field you will need between 5-10 years of learning and experience, and that time will pass wheter you decide to become excellent in something or not.

Re: Age limit???

There is most certainly no age limit, and at the ripe old age of 26 you have room for two or three career changes yet if you wish to do so.

You can absolutely get a job in gaming when you are ready.
