QA Testing from home
I need help.
Due to various circumstances, I'm unable to work outside of my house and so can only really do business over the internet. There are no game studios in Michigan (or none that are hiring anyway), and obviously I don't live ANYWHERE close to California or Washington. And none of the game studios that are looking for a QA tester are offering the position with a work-from-home option. So I figure, since that's the only option I have, I'll have more luck with someone who develops web games. I'm fine with whatever, I just REALLY need money. I'll take whatever salary. Does anyone know of any web game designers who need a paid QA tester? I really, really need a job. |

Re: QA Testing from home
@tsloper: Not even studios who make webgames and are (most likely) made up of people who talk over the internet? =(
It doesn't have to be full-time. Part-time works too. I don't care how often or not, if I get paid and am able to help somebody improve their game, then I'll be happy. |
Re: QA Testing from home
I'm sorry but nobody will give you a salaried job testing games from home. As I said before.
I hope you find some work to do, but this isn't going to be your answer. |
Re: QA Testing from home
If you don't have any prior experience then it is extremely unlikely you will find a QA job working from home. Some startups *might* have positions but I doubt they would take on a junior QA tester.
If you are just looking for any job working from home, then you can looking on People Hour http://www.peopleperhour.com/ |
Re: QA Testing from home
Hn...alright. Guess I'll just have to wait til I can leave and live somewhere where there are actual game companies.
@Yaustar: Thank you! I'll check that website out. =) |
