Help with starting.
Hello. I am currently interested in getting into gaming as a career but I have no idea where to start. I am 31 years old and have held various jobs but nothing to do with video games. I have played them my whole life and listen to podcast after podcast on gaming, so i feel like this is where my real interest lies. My problem is I am 31 years old so I am late to the game, and I am not sure what specific area I should focus on. I know that the actual design of games is a bit too technical for me so I am thinking along the lines of the discussion of games or something like that. I know this is pretty vague but maybe someone could sort of guide me along? Thank you.

Re: Help with starting.
I always thought the Marketing side of things would be interesting. I took some marketing classes a few years ago. Thank you for the information.

Subscribe to gamasutra and GamesIndustry International. Read for at least a month. Then read http://sloperama.com/advice/lesson27.htm |
