thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure my problem was that the flash game didn't have focus. I think I just needed to click the screen. Haha, can't believe I didn't do that. Anyways, I was able to upload it to Newgrounds and it works fine.
Sadly, it was an unfinished build, so it got downvoted off the site - ouch. But anyways, problem solved. After a few more days work I'll upload it again and give you guys a link.
