Hello everybody,
This is the first time I visit this web and forum, and I arrived to you by googling a bit about game-testing and so on. In a few days I got a test which if I pass, will give me the opportunity to work as linguistic tester for a company. Can you guys tell me anything about what can I expect as test or any advice for? I've been told that I will need to use excell and acrobat reader to do it. If you have done similar tests or just have an opinion or whatever, please, show up here with a comment ![]() Thanks for reading ! ![]() |

Excel is probably for reporting linguistic problems.
Reader is probably for reading the original language text and the localized text. Of course, you also need to be able to play the game and see the text in context, which means you may need to demonstrate that you're a good game player in their particular genre. And you have to demonstrate the ability to communicate problems clearly. You might want to read http://www.sloperama.com/advice/lesson5.htm
