Hey guys, I've started making models few days ago.
I'm posting my creations on my newly created portofolio. Check Portofolio Here: Portofolio I'm updating it everytime I'm doing some new model or when I'm learning something from a model. I'm going to make my own models soon because of my large imagination, so tell me what do you think about me so far, please! Also please try to tell me things with that I'm wrong. Thanks, SkyWalkeR Last edited by SkyCWalkeR : 10-23-2010 at 01:42 AM. |

Took me too long to work out how to use the site (the book thing confused me long enough to move on). You may want to consider a better layout for your portfolio that doesn't take as long to see your work.

It doesn't matter what style you like if no-one else can work out how to view it. If anything, a button that says 'Prev page' and 'Next page' would work wonders.
I also can't click to enlarge the images and the font is too complicated to speed read which makes it a chore to view the portfolio.

Am I right in assuming that because of your age that you are still in school and will be developing your skills for quite some time?
If so; and you are simply looking for somewhere to host your works for critique, then perhaps something easier to manage such as a Behance Portfolio and a DeviantArt Profile might be more useful.

As a hiring manager, I wouldn't care how much you have improved, I just want to see your best work. If anything, seeing your early pieces first in the book would make me assume you are an average artist and not bother seeing the rest.
A portfolio should contain ONLY your best work. What you are doing sounds like a blog, not a portfolio.

Also guys can you tell me how important is Zbrush for me? (Does this program helps me to model the character better? To make muscles and all other details that 3D's max studio can't do?) Please tell me! Last edited by SkyCWalkeR : 10-23-2010 at 01:33 AM. |
