When you consider that someone is skim reading through a bunch of CVs and covering letters, you HAVE to make it clear what you are applying for.

My CV is on my portfolio and my covering letters will differ from company to company but always, without fail, the first line will say the exact role I am applying for and where I found it.

Personally, I much prefer a portfolio for one offs. Blog formats don't really work unless you are continuously adding new relevant content.

Blog:
- Not 100% what is the aim of the posts. Are they recviews?
- YMMV but I am not a big fan of justified text as I find it harder to read.
- You are mixing fonts between posts. I can see two distinct fonts on the first page.

Resume:
- Resumes shouldn't be more then one page.
- Used a different font size for the text: Target Shop Anna Sui, at Target Headquarters, NY (David Stark Design)
- Professional Development uses a different layout to Education despite being education and displaying similar information in different format.
- What does 'Set-up and breakdown' actually mean?
- Bullet points are aligned in three different sections.
- In Professional Experience, the horizontal line is a different thickness in one of the companies, all the dates are aligned differently and so are the company names.

I would also change the greeting to
"To whom it may concern" (even better if you can find the name of the person you're writing to directly).
