Exclamation From Scratch

Hello

I am searching for a open source real time strategy game engine for a while, i got some choices but it will take long. What about if i go from scratch because for modifying i need to go through others work. Any suggestions and tips what should i do?

You need to weigh both choices as at the moment, only you know what your game needs. It basically comes down to what would be faster: Starting from scratch or using an existing engine.

Personally, unless I had a really good reason to start from scratch, I use an existing engine.

I need that tool in which i am flexible for quick development of AI, i mean dynamic scripting, which i can visualize in the game. It was hard for me to find that one that is the reason which drove me to do it from scratch. 3 - 4 months is the time span i have got.
