I think this is the right place to post this thread because it involves level design, but move it if it shouldn't be here.
As I said in one of my previous posts, I bought Unreal Tournament 3 recently in hopes of learning how to use the Unreal Editor only to find out that my graphics card didn't support it. Once again here are my Specs: Processor: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with Total Available Graphics Memory of 358MB (max.) Chipset: Mobile Intel® GM965 Express Chipset If I want to learn how to use some editing tools what is a good program to use and how can I get it. I'm not a hundred percent sure how level editors work, but I would like something that would provide me with an easier transition to the Unreal Editor when I finally get a better computer.

Why not try using the previous version of UnrealEd which can be found on UT2004. It may be more bearable for your graphics card and you'll be able to use the editor in UT3 when you get a faster PC as they've got the same layout.
If you don't want to do that Hammer would be the other editor I'd recommend.

I'll be honest with you, I feel like a complete idiot after reading that reply, haha. I should have thought of that myself. Thanks for the help anyway.

'UT3.exe has encountered an error and need to close' Message? I think it's something to do with the graphics card. I wouldn't mind but the computer is only a couple of years old. I really wanted to learnt UT3 as well, but never mind, I'll just have to stick to UT2004 as Mariol said. |
