Red face help with college/university

i recently went to devry university to learn about their program and see what they had to offer but by the end i realized i knew nothing about school outside of high school lol so i need your guy's help. What exactly is college for?and if i already know what i want to do with my life do i need it? and is university's the same as college? plez help

oh and btw i want to design video games you know make the character's and levels so what would i need to study?

1. Ask this question of a counselor at your high school. Or a teacher or the principal.
2. In England it isn't but in general you're probably seeing a lot of people (Americans) using the term interchangeably.
