Question is quite simple.
I feel that since I'm trying to make a career out of programming, that I should post here instead. When compared to GameDev, this forum probably promotes more professional practice and real world advice anyways. Do you guys agree? Cheers! |

You'll get the same advice from me either way.

I am on both forums as well. There are a ton of members on GameDev who actually work in professional environments both in and out of the industry. There is nothing wrong with being on both.
In fact, GameDev is where I got a lot of my original advice from on Programming and Software Engineering.
