Default GGJ 2010 Games

Hey Peeps,

The idea of this post is two-fold. First, I'd like to get feedback on the game we created for the Global Game Jam. We had a blast making it, but admittedly it's lacking something in the "fun" factor. What could we do to make it better? What would you do? We definitely want to add on to it to make it better.

Our game is Befuddled, and I would really appreciate your feedback:

Secondly, I'd like to know who from the forums here participated, and what games YOU created! Post a reply to let me know. I hope you had as much fun as we did

Thanks!

Here is my teams game, http://globalgamejam.org/2010/classic-deception .

And just so everyone knows the theme of the Global Game Jam was Deception
The constraints for my teams time zone was "Rain, Spain, Plain" so at least one of those had to be in the game at some point.

I for one had a blast, I organized the site and participated so it was a little crazy but I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Wow Grant, you guys did an awesome job! Very fun!!

I didn't realize the constraints changed based on location. We had to have one of the following: a Pet, a Set, or a Net.

In my chapter, Catania (Sicily, Italy), the theme was "A key, a Donkey or a Monkey". And we put them all in the game!

Our game is this: The Secret of Donkey High-hat http://www.globalgamejam.org/2010/se...onkey-high-hat

It's a simple platformer with a twist. Made in Flash. Sadly, there's only one level...
(the controls are: Z activates the lever, X launches the carrot, SPACE jumps, R to restart the level)

While I didn't go last time around, my friend has won the Dutch Global Game Jam (both jury and audience) with Resonance.
