Does the video simply not load, or does it ask you to download a plug-in?

The video doesn't load at all. It's just a blank box.

Plays fine but can't seek forwards, only backwards.

I checked the seeking on several computers on different browsers, and I haven't had any problems seeking forwards or backwards. I think you had trouble seeking forward because you may have been jumping to a spot in the video which hadn't been loaded yet. Like YouTube, it takes time to load the file.

I'm gonna be finalizing my flatpacket for GDC this week. A recommendation I've heard is to keep any physical portfolios down to a 20 page minimum. Has anyone here heard similar thoughts or have differing opinions on the subject?

I can jump forwards in YouTube to a bit that hasn't loaded yet and it will try to start streaming from that point and not load anything prior to the point.

Your video just disallows seeking forward completely if it hasn't been loaded yet.
