The degree at CityU goes over basic IS stuff like Operating Systems and Information security for the core courses, all the things I've been doing in my job. Then it gets into the programming part of the degree...

C++ intro, intermediate, advanced, and special topics. C# intro, intermediate, advanced.

Here is the full list.

I can't find any schools in the area that offer the CS degree and would work, will continue looking though.

Thanks!

Are there any schools you could attend that offer CS degrees?
It's all in the portfolio...

Of course! I didn't mean to imply that you didn't need a stellar portfolio either way. But you definitely also need a related degree, and I don't know how much programming is involved in a typical "IT" degree.

Default The degree is focused on Programming

This degree is focused on programming, not sure how much that would help but that makes up the majority of the degree.

There is one other option I've found, just waiting to see if it will work or not based off of admissions and schedule. Working full time kind of impacts the school choices for obvious reasons. They also have a special focus class on game design which might be interesting.

UW Bothel - Computing & Software Systems
