I've thrown together from your suggestions a game design resume. I posted it on the last thread but didn't get any responses within the last couple days so though I'd try this.
Please let me know if you think anything should be taken away or added. NOTE: Trying to build a portfolio site which can be seen here. It's a work in progress, so it's missing game design concepts. I'm also working on getting it so the site is just my name (so it's simpler to reach). When I have the funds, I'll do so. The link provided in the rough resume below is to my blog, which I will take off in lieu of the portfolio site once it is fully up and running. Any advice to this site would be welcome as well. As always thank you for your time and help in advance. ![]() PS. Formatting of resume my be a bit off because of the copy and paste. Name, number, email, etc. are missing just to be safe, even though I trust you guys...mostly. ![]() Objective - To develop and produce stories, in which characters and conflict come together to entertain, leaving a lasting imprint, encouraging the viewer to question and seek answers. Can you upload the PDF/DOC version please?
Edit: Never mind, I see it on your portfolio. You mention that you are a world builder but I can't see evidence of that on your resume.

I don't think it's on youtube. Should probably do that at some point.

Why did you just copy and post my words from http://www.gamecareerguide.com/forum...ead.php?t=3237 into this thread? It doesn't make any sense to say that in this situation.

I figured it was a spammer. There were several telltales, but I won't tell. (We wouldn't want to make them more intelligent.)

boojum, you seem to be more interested in writing for games than designing for games. Seems to be a trap that alot of people fall into. Perhaps you should have a good look at what you really want to do before continuing to work on your portfolio....
