Write. Read this book. Visit library when you have writer's block.

"Write" means basically "just do it." You should not have to be told this. If you want to be a writer, you should just be writing already. To that I would add: "Read." Not just that Vogler book (which I've read and every aspiring writer should read) but also the books that inspired it, the books by Joseph Campbell. I have a list of more recommended books at http://www.sloperama.com/advice/lesson8.htm And in addition to the library, I also recommend the bookstore. Not just the mega-chains like Barnes & Noble but also used book stores. Problem with going there, though, is that you'll spend money there.
