Awesome, you two. Your friend starting out in QA is interesting. Was that his choice or was he trying to get into the community manager position long before that? Also, I'm curious if education will translate into experience on a 1:1 ratio or should I go for something like QA earlier and just skip the bachelors.
As far as the telecommuting, it will definitely not be something I'll hold out for now unless gaming studios start to catch up with modern corporate habits. Collaborating closely on-site does make sense in this case, though, since the product is in a medium that's best experienced with a preface. I see where they're coming from on that one. |
