Question Mit?

Is MIT a good college for Game Programming, I know its a excellent college, but could I go to a less expensive college and still get the same job as I would with an MIT degree?

I can't think of a good reason to not go to MIT if you want to be a programmer. There may be better schools for game programmers I suppose but MIT opens doors.

Yes. Why couldn't you? Whether you get a job or not depends largely on you, the degree just helps.

These are two different questions. What is your reason for asking them both? What is it you're really trying to find out?
(And what's your connection with respawn station?)

MIT is a great school. You will learn more than "game programming" there that will aid you better in the long run. The name MIT on your resume will help you at least get past the first round of application review too. Most people go into college thinking they want to get into one field and by the time they graduate they end up going into something different. I can't count how many times I've seen students here graduate with engineering degrees and go into law or finance. My sister's high school sweetheart has a master's in Bio-Chemistry and went into Marketing. Just a few examples I have. Don't settle this early on game programming as things often change.
