Default Help me choose the right school

Hi guys ,

I am bit confused and want your help in making a decision . I am from INDIA.I have finished my UG related to Programming and I have a good knowledge in the same. And have been working as a game developer for the past 1 year here. I am comfortable with 2D and have worked with basic 3D games too.

I am planning to do Masters and have applied at Abertay University.

Is it a good school , is it possible for me to get job offers after i finish studying there in UK.

Thanks in advance

Haven't been myself. Hull and Derby are also good choices. It is always possible to get job offers in the UK, just not guaranteed.

1. You do not need a Masters degree to get a job in games (or to move from your current job to a better one or to one at a more prestigious company). But if you want to get one, fine, do it -- it won't hurt, either.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the reply @tsloper and @yaustar

I think i have phrased the question wrong . After the economic crunch , I heard they stopped recruiting people from other countries , here in my country game companies are 4-5 years behind in technology and knowledge I just want to experience working with a good company where i can learn more .

That is more or less correct. There is usually plenty of local talent available.

You have not rephrased the question.
