Hi guys,
I'm looking for some feedback on a web service I recently joined as a team member. We're a platform for publishing and discovering source-code (mainly premium / commercial but also free). We recently opened a game development category and have some components published there already. What do you think about this concept? would you be interested in purchasing commercial packages if it could save you serious time & money or improve your performance? Would appreciate any feedback you guys have (good or bad). Thanks! www.binpress.com |

personally I can't imagine purchasing code, most people either have the means to do it themselves or can easily find this information for free online. Blogs, sites, forums, there are many places where one can easily ask for help or code.
I can't see this doing very well but I might be wrong.

Unity has an asset store that features artists and programmers selling their assets. I don't think the idea is well suited for developers unless you feature full length libraries.
