Default Needing some help setting up a portfolio website

Hello everyone, new guy here.

I'm a hobbyist game developer, currently working on an open-source game engine, and i've been having a hard time finding a CMS for portfolio websites. Does anyone have any hints about how to setup a nice portfolio website, without having to design the whole thing myself? (I have hosting already, i just need content).

Thank you very much for your time regarding this post, and have a nice day!

Well. You can take a look at www.david-mcgraw.com to get a feel for what wordpress can do for you. This is the route that I decided to go due to its simplification and professional looking themes.

Will it work? Give me a year and I'll let you know.

Last month, I decided I needed the very same thing...a portfolio website. I shopped around and decided on 1&1 as my domain and FTP provider. So far, I think it's working for me (you can go to mikebelotti.com to see what it looks like; it's in progress), and the best part is, I didn't have to write any code.

You said you already have hosting though... So maybe all you need is a domain name and then you can just place links to your hosted files on it. Hope this helps some.

I use godaddy.com and their tools to make websites. It works pretty well. You can check it out in my sig.
