Hi, I live in Montreal. The closes school I found was John Abbott, and looks pretty decent for Computer Science. Since I want to be a programmer I was wondering if there was any Game Programming Colleges near Dorval ? Here is a link tell me what you think about it.

That course looks a little bit like a CIS course, which isn't quite the same as a Computer Science course. CIS (Computer Information Systems) goes by a lot of names but in general is more focused on business and I.T. work than on professional programming.
I think you'd perhaps be slightly better off with a real C.S. degree, but remember that preparing yourself for a career in games has more to do with the work you put into your education than it does with the words on your degree. ________ Fisting granny Last edited by forumaccount : 03-29-2011 at 04:23 AM. |
