Just a small thing I wanted to share about the relationship between video games and the real world.
Since I live in Israel one of the things I liked about Assasin's creed is that I know most of the places in the game. a few days after finishing it I drove to a wedding in Jerusalem and while standing in traffic I could imagine Al'tair riding his horse on the same roads (without all these annoying cars of course). Last weekend I went with my family to the northern part of the country and we visited Acre on Saturday, I was really tempted to try and climb one of the mosque towers and then do an eagle dive, sadly there were no hay stacks in the area . If anyone is interested, I'm adding a link to the photos taken by my brother (who is very talented, in my somewhat biased opinion) this Saturday and also during a visit in January. enjoy ![]() http://www.pbase.com/avshig/akko&page=all (Oh, and if anyone is conserned about the kids jumping to the waters from the walls, they all climbed back the walls safe and sound ) |

Tombstoning for the lose! So many kids get killed in Plymouth (where I used to live) doing that.
