Now I'm not completely sure how many they have, but it's a lot. Quote:

Yup, they only recruit cogs and gears made out of nylon with at least 25 teeth.

Companies and the games that I'd like to be part of:
Lionhead (The Movies 2 + expansion packs) Sports Interactive (Football Manager series) Maxis (Sim City 5 + expansion packs) Firaxis (Anything) Blizzard (Diablo IV) Nintendo (WiiSports series; Curling, Badminton, Squash) EA (Need for Speed Underground 3) Companies that make card and boardgames for 7 to 11 years old Last edited by altugi : 08-27-2008 at 01:09 AM. |

The only company I've done thorough research on and decided it's a place I'd like to work is Silicon Knights. I feel they have a great corporate culture and methodology for making games. Also, it'd be incredibly interesting to work at Nintendo, if anything just to see what makes them tick. There's other companies that make great games that I wouldn't mind being employed by but mostly I'd like to make my own great games. It's also important to me that I not work for a company that does movie licensed properties or is incredibly reliant on outsourcing (both of which are practices Silicon Knights don't partake in.)

You will learn French while living in Montreal and working there anyway. Also, most people speak English, so you will be able to communicate with your team. http://jobs.ubisoft.ca/en/ |

However, I think preferential treatment would be handed to people who have strong or intermediate comfort with both languages; right. It would also proberbly be a very good idea to brush up your French before you went because I would assume that comments and documentation could potentially be only in French.

Why would you have to start at a small company? A large company like Microsoft has the resources to recruit and train employees, while smaller companies proberbly need to make you productive as soon as you start!
