Spec'ing a Game Dev PC

So I need help spec'ing out a game development PC that my school is getting for me. One catch is that I don't want to be ridiculously greedy, and the other catch is that it needs to be a Dell. If anyone knows much about Dells and what would be good for running XNA, TorqueX, and some graphics software compatible with the two (won't need to be extremely high-end for rendering), please give me your advice, or even links to a packaged system you'd recommend.
