Curious about studio locations

Does anyone know if there are studios located in the south/southeastern US? I know that Austin is a hub(Texas in general is a hub), and I have heard of some studios in Atlanta, as well as in FL and N. Carolina. But, I haven't been able to find much of a concrete listing of this. My family is all in the south, and if at all possible, I would like to stay somewhat close when I start my career, and I was just wondering if anyone here had any more concrete evidence than what I have come across. Orlando, Fla. has a few studios, namely EA Tiburon. And yes, Atlanta has some. Lucky you, I just wrote an advice column on this very topic of location just today! See Ask the Experts: Location, Location, Location!: Part I

Thanks alot for that article, it was a great read. As such, I am interested in reading part II as well. I had heard of gamedevmap.com from you before, and I think that is a great site. I plan on checking out the other link as well. Again, thanks for the posting.

You are a professsional film maker or photographer?
In Austin yes there are some of the good studios.
But sorry to say i dont have much knowledge about it.
Please let me know what are your other interests, like i read alot
mostly online because i dont find much time to take book or good journal and sit relaxed on the couch thats why i prefer to read artices on http://www.articlezap.com/articles/a...nt/photography .Hope this will cater you with good matarial of your interests.
