Default Preparing for a QA tester interview

Hi everyone!

Just got offered an interview for a temporary position as a QA tester and seeing as though the interview is tomorrow at 3, is there anything you would recommend me doing to prepare for it tonight?

I desperately want this job as i'm sick of the dead-end job I have at the moment. So I really want to stand out against the other applicants...

any advice guys?

cheers

Have good questions to ask.
Know everything about the company and its games.

In addition to the above, get your stories ready: http://m.c.lnkd.licdn.com/mpr/mpr/p/...31/086f48d.jpg

cheers guys
thanks for the link yaustar.

Also, i've read a couple of places that dressing too smart isn't a good idea? I don't really know what's a good idea of 'not too smart' so i've just gone with a simple top and jeans? The kind of thing i'd wear to work if i got the job. Would that be ok?

Dress slightly above what they normally wear in the office. I normally go in a decent pair of jeans, a decent shirt, smart trainers/shoes.

back from the interview and got offered the job on the spot!

Cannot stress how helpful the guides on Sloperama were, they prepared me for all the questions.

I wasn't asked to do any actual debugging exercise which i thought was strange but they asked about 20 questions and wanted to know mainly: What I thought the job actually entailed and, why I thought i'd make a good QA tester.

so thanks yaustar and tsloper, your advice helped in the end.
