Hi everyone. I am a placement specialist with a firm in Cleveland. I have openings for gaming technology developers with a company in Cleveland and am having the hardest time finding the talent.
I figured the best place to get this kind of info was on a site like this. Can any of you tell me the best place(s) to go to find developers with 3 or more years of experience? The company is paying a fantastic salary and has a full relo package so I needn't limit my scope to just Ohio. I am open to sites, boards, lists anything. I am not having any luck on the traditional Monster, careerbuilder, etc. Think I need some niche job boards. Any help would be totally appreciated and if any of you know anyone who suits the description, there is a finders fee. Thanks for letting me intrude on your forum! you can reach me at km@gablessearch.com or just reply to this thread. |

Please don't cross post.
Try job board sites like: GamesIndustry.biz Gamasutra.com And networking sites like LinkedIn. The games industry is usually really tight and jobs are usually offered via word of mouth or direct contact especially for senior roles. Lurk around some of the more mainstream programming forums such as GameDev, many users will have their CVs/resumes attached to their signatures where you can find contact details. I couldn't find the job opening on your website, mind posting a link to it? Perhaps the description is not making attractive?

Note: The OP has PMed me with the Job description upon request.
The description seems fine but doesn't really much about the work that they be doing, just the hardware and platforms so I just glossed it over. This is a bit of a catch 22 since you cannot say too much about your client. Are you being active in your search (e.g. Contacting anyone in your network for people who might be interested) or are you being passive and waiting for people to contact you?
