Default Canadian Schools

Hello,
I am currently in grade 11 and have an interest in persuing a career in programming and since I enjoy games why not game programmin? I have looked into a couple of different schools and UofM I beleive concentrates on the Java language instead of C++. If anyone has some insite to some information on schools in Canada that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Though I can't speak of specific schools, the big areas for game development in Cananda are Montreal and Vancouver. If you can go to school near or in one of those cities, you might better your chances by being in a place where professional game developers are already thriving (and mentoring students, and hiring, and attending IGDA meetings...).

Java is very easy to learn as a first language, and it also makes the transition into C++ easier. The principles of both languages are very similar, and learning C++ in your own time wouldn't be difficult.
