Default Wii Virtual Reality.

Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this has been posted in here, but I seriously think this is amazing and exactly what I would call, thinking outside the box. In his case, he ripped it apart and remade it!

This link is to a video of Johnny Chung Lee of Carnegie Mellon University on YouTube describing how he has fit the Wii Sensor Bar to a pair of glasses to provide a sense of depth and movement. A must see!

Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote!

Sincerely,
Tim Edwards

It looks cool but the major flaw is it is still a 2D image so you lose the sense of depth unless you close an eye as a group of us found out when we tried it. Also it needs to be calibrated correctly to get the right feeling of movement.

I am far more impressed with his virtual whiteboard implementation.
