The deadline for the alumni and super advanced registration is July 31. The "early bird" deadline is August 27. The prices are online: http://www.austingdc.net/register/passoptions.htm

So you want to buy a Main GDC pass ($395) and a Career Seminar pass ($99), but not the all access pass (meaning you can't go to the Worlds in Motion Summit). I think that should be fine. That's actually a pretty good deal that way! You can call the conference people too if you have questions. (Phone number is on web site.)

TG1, Just so as to let you know- it's my understanding that the guildhall will have our own area at GDC, and I know at least that we will all be there with major faculty as well. I can try to remember to bring some pictures for you if you'd like!
Other than that, you might try to get in touch with rene at the GH - I don't know how we are all getting to and from the GDC, but if it's a communal bus thing they might be able to let you go along with. There's plenty of new GH students that wouldn't mind putting you up for a while, either. |

Paris GDC might be as good as it gets guy. Don't be afraid to try to track stuff down, and know that the GDC is not a deal breaker as far as your career goes. I personally wouldn't put, "Went to GDC twice, really liked it, talked to people" on a resume or anything, and when you know you're ready to market yourself there the location won't matter - it'll all come together.

http://www.gc-germany.com/index.php?page=64 This convention is run by a different company than the one that puts on GDC, Austin GDC, and Game Career Seminar.
