First!
"All you need to know is that there's a gun that shoots shukins and lightning. I wish I could make something like that up. It shoots shukins and lightening! It could only be more awesome if it had **** and was on fire!" This sounds like an awesome challenge. I'm sure there are loads of awesome guns we can come up with! Be it in a magical, historical or futuristic setting. *Imagines the cool crossbow thing from Relic Hunter*

This is an awesome challenge. I love thinking up new weapons for FPSes. I guess the most challenging aspect this time is not thinking of something, but deciding which of your ideas is the most awesome and worthy to submit.

lol... actually I have to learn for the exam next wednesday and that is the reason why I had to skip 2 challenges so far (RISK and satire), but this one is personal as I have to defend my championship title
(Old James Portnow GD Challengers may remember).EDIT: Btw. With another student I have done a game for a two touchscreen system (both unfortunally only single-touch) here at my university. I will do a video presentation after my exam and maybe I can make a postmortem article for GameCareerGuide. Here are some sneakpeaks ![]() 1, 2

Hmmm...I got it! The BIG GUN OF DOOM!
Pull the trigger once and the entire universe implodes. All baddies gone. Unfortunately, so are you, but what the heck, that's the price of glory! This challenge should turn out some interesting ideas. I'm sure it could lead to a neat compendium! ![]() |

Out of curiousity, is this a 'single weapon entry' or can we provide a list of weapons?
The big difference is whether we are concentrating on providing detailed information for a single weapon or whether we are providing a brief overview of an entire arsenal. My reading of the challenge suggests the first option, but is the second acceptable? |
