But to be exact to where I want to work and who with are very good questions which I don't really have good questiuons to and really do need to research them. All i know is that I may become a Free-Lance set designer or work within a set company. Who knows, I don't mind whether I design for the theatre or Film/TV... |

Ideally I want to be a freelance games journalist, I'd absolutely love to have work in print, not just online. I also want to have the time to focus on 3D art, and any writing that needs to be handled in game development. My friends and I are hoping to set up a studio during our placement year, so I'd love to keep a role with them.

Wow, they'd let you do something like that? That would be freaking awesomeness!

There are so many possible Indie routes to actually sell direct to the consumer (iTunes, XNA, Flash Portals, online), starting a studio is actually quite an attractive opportunity especially at University where money isn't such a huge issue.

Any Independent Company.
Sony Online (Put me on the EQ3 team!), Insomniac Games (Looks like an awesome culture), Blizzard (It's Blizzard), MGS (It's MS)... Basically, I'll work for anybody who doesn't rip out my eyeballs and glues it to my monitor.

Yeah, it's looking really appealing at the moment. If we want to develop games from an office, the university can accept us in their 'incubation' programme so we can use a proper office at a very low price. As long as we can get some game/s out there during our time I'll be very happy. We're working on a game now and hoping to get it published so when it comes to our placement year, we should have some publisher 'faith'.

I'd love to work for:
1. Lionhead Studios (you gotta love fable and pretty much whatever Molyneux had his hand in) 2. Square-Enix ( FF fan of course) 3. Nintendo (Zelda fanatic also) 4. Frontier (Grew up with Roller Coaster Tycoon Series) 5. EA (Who hasn't played a great EA game nowadays?) 6. Curve Studios (I've worked with these guys for a short while and they're FANTASTIC people to work with )
