Of course it's newer, but I'm surprised we haven't added Game Industry Grunts to the list yet. Check it out for entrly-level game jobs.

IGDA has removed the "Breaking In" page from their site. Has anyone found a suitable replacement site? Also, has anyone found any sites on how to write cover letters and resumé's for positions in the video game industry? One of my instructors (who doesn't teach any of the gaming classes, but runs the whole multimedia studies department (audio, video, media, gaming, animation, and radio); thinks he knows everything about all the aforementioned disciplines) claims that writing a resumé and cover letter is different than if you were going to write one for another discipline (business, etc). Is this true? He mentioned that they were part of your portfolio. I'd like to either become a game designer or (if possible) a producer. This guy has me so confused. ^^;; Sorry if I don't make any sense.
