Welcome, Yan. This forum is for discussion by game artists about game art and working in the game industry (it's not to advertise your job availability or your freelance services). So now you've introduced yourself to the community. Hope you find it useful.

The second pixel art image isn't as good as the first one: https://cactus606.carbonmade.com/projects/5717743#2

The character blends into the background due to the colours used. Also the background is blurry which looks weird as pixel art tends to be crisp and solid. The effect used looks like scaling.

Ultimately, each section lacks a variety of content. For example, all the low poly work are weapons.

The work there is fairly decent though. The UI work is relatively clean although from a user design point of view it lacks consideration.

ie https://cactus606.carbonmade.com/projects/5333041#1

"Tapping sides of the screen moves left to right" as a pure text prompt generally doesn't work as players don't read instructions. Using images/iconography would have helped here.

The idea behind blurring the background was to make it more distant from the viewer. I saw this method being used in games, but you totally right - the colors blend and ruin all the deepness.

This is so true! I realized it right after I uploaded y game to Google Play. New players just instantly push the play button and frustrate after they realize the don't know how to control. I'll definitely fix that in the patch.

Best regards,
Yan

Hi, anumkhan. Please start a new thread about yourself, instead of hijacking someone else's thread.

Ace, showing the OP your portfolio does not help him with his question about his own portfolio. Closing thread.
