I recently decided to pursue a career in video game journalism and chose the field as the topic of my final paper in my research writing class. One of my biggest questions for someone already in the field, other than how did you get started, would have to be what do you believe is more important to the field: a passion for video games or a passion for writing? Or should a writer have a equal passion for both? Is that even possible? I'd like to think so, but what do you think?
Thank you in advance. |

If games didn't exist, I wouldn't write. There's nothing else I'd feel comfortable writing about. Games journalism encouraged me to get into other fields. Im now doing journ/eng at Uni. Its made me want to write about other topics, too.
Im not exactly a pro by any means, though. Last edited by reddybrek : 12-31-2008 at 08:22 PM. |
