Hahaha. I saw this topic and was like "What?" Granny Style is basically the ability to slow down everything in the game except input so that you can have time to make last minute saves or more precise shots.

Hahaha. Yea it was kind of a joke we had. Saying that we wanted to make the game easier for our Grandmothers so we made the game play slower, then changed that to be just a powerup.

PS Play the game and it will all make sense

Granny style is also used to describe a basketball shot where you start with the ball between your legs and toss it up into the basket. It's easier to make from close distances, but is considered not "real" play since 100% of the time you'd be blocked if you were actually versing someone. They call it granny shot because you have to bend your back and bow your legs out, giving you the appearance of an old arthritic grandmother.

That is the "The Granny Shot" not "Granny Style"

Hahaha. And I still see people do that for free throws. Not in the NBA of course.
