I have aspirations of becoming a writer, just like everyone else on the forums. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research these past couple weeks and saw that a portfolio containing freelance articles would help you get noticed. So, my question to everyone is what is an acceptable age to start freelancing?
I just turned 15 on February 22. Before you respond to my question, I just want you to know that I like starting things early. Thanks guys! Any responses are greatly appreciated! (Btw, this is my 1st post! )Edit: Removed the font so it is easier to read - yaustar Last edited by yaustar : 03-31-2009 at 02:24 AM. |

It depends. Are you planning on freelancing for a well established print or online outlet? If so, then it is definitely to early, not only are you to young but you are probably to inexperienced. However, if you really love what you do, you can definitely find smaller blogs and sites out there more than willing to take you on for volunteer work.
