Hey, I just bought Unreal Tournament III and the specs as far as graphics go are:
NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card My laptop has: Processor: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with Total Available Graphics Memory of 358MB (max.) Chipset: Mobile Intel® GM965 Express Chipset Interface: VGA Out with Smart Display Sensor Everytime I try and start the game the screen goes black and then shuts down and goes back to my desktop. Is it because of my graphics card? |

Intel graphic chipsets really suck - you'd want a modern nVidea or ATI chipset.

Yes, it is the very base level integrated graphics card which generally sucks for 3D graphics. Very old games like Quake III should run okay though.

So my wife wants a Mac and I want a PC. We both need a computer but it's too expensive to get 2 computers. Do you think it would be worth it for me to just get the Mac and install Windows and do all of my "Game Developing" from there? Or should I still try and get a PC?
