Hello,

The first thing I thought when I saw the pic was "Save the clock tower! Save the clock tower!" but I think have a possible idea formulating.

Wow -- not much discussion!

Too open-ended? I personally like that, but it's not me writing the entries...

Default What, can't you hear

the sound of brains buzzin' and keyboards clickin'?

Well, I have an idea for this challenge, though it is one I've had for several years that actually fits the image perfectly (well, the clock is sort of a metaphorical symbol, but...).

I don't suppose there's a problem using a pre-existing design, is there?

I have something to say.

Why let us edit the photograph? Now we're not working with the same stimulus. And the point of these is they arent THAT much work. Now we're all faced with the option of photoshopping some super cool picture for added creativity points.

I'm interested in hearing the mod's thoughts on this.

I see your point. That's not how I looked at it, though. It's a fair point, however. I just care about the quality of core ideas, not necessarily who turns in the coolest image work.

Well, since I haven't received an answer to my question and the deadline is running, I'm going to submit and let things play out as they will. A few of us GCG forum-goers were working on a collaborative project, and my design was chosen for production, but things more or less never got beyond the quick demo / concept art phase.

The image in this challenge fits the idea perfectly, and since it never really got off the ground I would still consider it 'undeveloped'. Therefore, I'll be submitting this concept. I'll have the entry up in an hour or two, I still need to get it down to 500 words.
