Default Introductions welcome here?

Oh well, too late!

I'm Matthew, enthusiastic student and like the rest of you, passionate about the game industry. Currently in my second year of College, studying Game Development (theory based as opposed to practical), Media Studies and Computing. I'm very much determined to getting myself a job as a games journalist. I have my own blog (currently undergoing maintenance) on which I post my reviews, musings and features about the game industry.

Quick bit of information about what I am doing post-qualification. I am applying for 3 different Universities (5 course over the 3 Universities) with Journalism and Broadcast Journalism the main two courses I wish to study. However, I am more than likely going to defer my application until 2011 as I want to get a job for the work experience and the financial backing, before going into higher education.

This forum (and site as a whole) looks like a great resource and looking forward to taking a lot of advice onboard from the wonderful members here. Hopefully, through patience, determination and some great advice, I can achieve my ambitions.

Regards, Matthew

This is a bit late, but I have been away. Welcome to the Forums!! Sounds like a pretty solid plan.
