We were waiting for another judge's response, but he's obviously not had time so i think we can just close it now. The winner is whoever got the highest total score (I'll add them up myself when i'm next on, because i've just got back from holiday and need to unpack etc.)

There is a very popular skiing game for the iphone, with neon colors and rainbows, etc, I wish i could remember the name of it. This to me is the quintessential game that fits this mold. That and, of course, how could i forget LEMMINGS??

Hey Protector, could you answer a question of mine?
I'm having trouble uploading a flash game to swfme. The game is there, but I can't play it. Pressing buttons doesn't do anything. Is there any specific code I need to make my game playable on the internet? Do I need to "publish" it? All I did was upload the swf file. The game is currently playable, but it's not finished. It doesn't even have an ending. I definitely haven't done anything specific to make it web- ready, if I'm supposed to. Is there an extra step I need to take, or could it be an error in my code? The current build is giving me an output error, but it doesn't affect the game from playing. I'm a complete noob, and have never uploaded a game to the internet before, so don't make any assumptions about my knowledge.

Have you tried opening your SWF in a browser?

Hey Yaustar,
thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure my problem was that the flash game didn't have focus. I think I just needed to click the screen. Haha, can't believe I didn't do that. Anyways, I was able to upload it to Newgrounds and it works fine. Sadly, it was an unfinished build, so it got downvoted off the site - ouch. But anyways, problem solved. After a few more days work I'll upload it again and give you guys a link.

Bob, as a little usability "cheat", you can start your flash game with a "click here to start"-screen, forcing users to put focus on the flash. PewPew has it as well.
