Second time I've posted here asking for feedback on my portfolio, so apologies for sounding like a broken record. I'm now very close to finishing my game design degree and I'm looking to find work in level design, writing or QA. Portfolio has been updated to show more recent work.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. www.mglanville.co.uk ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I really like your Source work. Very clean. The Left 4 Dead stuff looks good too but I have not played that so not sure how it should look.

Looks pretty good. There is inconsistency with what you have available to view though Some have videos, some have in map previews, some have a plans. It be nice if there was some more consistency.

Thank you for the feedback.
I see what you mean about consistency, and I guess it represents a change in my work flow. I was advised by an industry professional to work on showing my planning stages, as some of my earlier Source engine work was lacking in this area. That's why you see plans for some and not others. The videos were included because I wanted to be able to show the gameplay and storytelling aspects of the level which can be hard to convey through still images, but I didn't feel a video was necessary for all of my levels. I'm considering adding a video 'flythrough' for some though (particularly my Left 4 Dead work). Do you think that would be useful? |

A fly through would be nice as not everyone is going have L4D or be bothered to install your level (or know hot to).
