Road to game developer

My name is Assaji Tjahjadi. I'm a IT college student from Indonesia. I'm making a multiplayer 3D racing kart game in DS like mario kart as my final project. I'm asking for suggestion, how to be a professional game programmer or designer.

Because i lived in indonesia, it's not easy for me to look for game programming job because there's no game house in Indonesia, so no matter how good my game is, no one will see it and appreciate my hard work. What do you think I should do?

I think you should finish your degree, then build a spectacular portfolio.

There's no way I could create a game for indonesian people.. We are maybe one of the largest in piracy.. If you go the mall of shopping center here, you'll find 99% of pirated games... And, indonesian isn't one of game developer country, we still need to learn from people abroad..That's why i'm looking for a job abroad, but I dunno where to start.

I recommend that if you ask a question, you should read the answer you get.
I never said "make games for Indonesian people."
I never said "there are developers in Indonesia."
Your arguments totally ignore what I said above.
I said you should finish your degree.
I said you should build a portfolio.
I said you should move out of Indonesia, OR start the game industry in your country. If the latter is not feasible, then go with the former.
