Default Is a Psychology degree a good way to get into game design?

Hello, I was considering getting a degree in Game Design (BS) But after reading more about it, I think it might be a better idea to get a broader degree. Is a psych degree ok for getting into game design?

It's fine. You should study the subject you WANT to.
You can become a game designer with any degree, but you have to go about it the right way.

And going about it the right way can mean anything, as long as you keep in contact with games, but specifically game development.

Keep playing & analyzing the games you like, learn how they amaze you, understand how they do it and why it happens. Keep creating small games or join a mod team. The possibilities are endless, but the bottom line is: If you really want it, you'll eventually come around it naturally.
