Default Questions about college.

Im planning on going to college to help me to be a level designer / animator but my question is would it be better to major in animation and minor in a complementary subject like architecture or should i do the oppisite, major in architecture and minor in animation? Ive seen people sudgesting both and was wondering what would be the best course of action
